Head-on Collision – $100,000
Our client sustained significant injuries in a head-on collision that occurred in Corona, California. She was operating a 2018 Mazda CX-5 and traveling on Border Avenue when the defendant veered into oncoming traffic and collided head-on with her vehicle.
As a direct result of the collision, our client suffered injuries to her right wrist, neck, shoulder, and right arm, accompanied by headaches. She was diagnosed with a right wrist fracture, which required extensive medical treatment, including orthopedic care, medical and psychological treatment, MRI imaging, chiropractic care, and multiple orthopedic follow-up visits. Her total medical expenses amounted to $32,637.
A policy limits demand of $100,000 was submitted to the at-fault carrier in an effort to resolve the matter pre-litigation. The insurance initially offered $25,000; however, after multiple rounds of negotiations, we successfully secured the full policy limits of $100,000.
