Injured in T-bone Accident – $250,000
Our client sustained significant injuries in a T-bone collision that occurred in Torrance, California. Our client was operating a 2018 Ford Escape traveling on Anza Street when the defendant failed to stop for a red light, resulting in a broadside impact to our client’s vehicle.
As a direct result of this collision, our client suffered injuries to his neck, right shoulder, chest, right rib cage, upper back, right upper arm, right elbow, and right wrist. His course of medical care included an urgent care evaluation, MRI imaging, physical therapy, and an orthopedic consultation. He was further recommended to undergo an epidural injection and, as a last resort, an anterior cervical discectomy and fusion procedure, which was estimated to cost approximately $173,000. His incurred medical expenses totaled $11,769.80.
A policy-limits demand was submitted to the at-fault carrier, resulting in a tender of the full $50,000 policy limits. Our client also carried underinsured motorist coverage, prompting the submission of a UIM demand to the insurance, which resulted in an additional $200,000 settlement.
The client was happy with the results of his case that he submitted a video testimonial to share his perspective on how his case was handled.
